American Red Cross of Wisconsin Southeast Chapter Welcomes New Board Member Greg Gernert

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (March 4, 2025) – The American Red Cross of Wisconsin Southeast Chapter is excited to share the latest addition to its Board of Directors. The details of the appointment are as follows:

Greg Gernert is vice president and general manager for the Motion Control Business, part of the Intelligent Devices segment of Rockwell Automation. In this role, he leads all motion control product marketing, product development, profit and loss management, and customer & sales pursuit opportunities.

Greg joined Rockwell Automation in 2010 and has held roles of increasing responsibility in both the Global Sales & Marketing organization and the operating segments. Prior to joining Rockwell Automation, he held leadership and project management roles at the Rimrock Corporation and Siemens, respectively.

Greg holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering from DeVry in Columbus, Ohio, and an MBA from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.

“We’re so pleased to welcome Greg to our Southeast Chapter Board,” said Mark Thomas, Regional Executive and CEO of the Red Cross of Wisconsin. “Greg brings a wealth of leadership experience and a strong commitment to helping others. I’m excited to work alongside Greg as we continue serving communities in need. I’m also grateful to Rockwell for being an advocate of the Red Cross for over a decade and supporting their executives like Greg, as they become involved in our life-saving mission.”

In the 2024 calendar year, Red Cross volunteers provided care, food, hope, and shelter to more than 3,900 people following local disasters. Volunteers helped install nearly 3,945 smoke alarms throughout the Wisconsin Region.
