Connie Attanasio Passes Away at 96

By - Jan 29th, 2025 10:01 am

The Milwaukee Brewers issued the following statement today on the passing of Connie Attanasio:

“Last Wednesday morning, we said goodbye to Connie Attanasio, who passed away peacefully at the age of 96. Connie was the backbone of the Attanasio family, and there was no greater fan of the Milwaukee Brewers. Connie attended almost every Brewers home opener in person, proudly joining her husband, Joe, as he began every home season until his passing in 2015 by singing the national anthem. She often joined her family at other Brewers games but when unable to attend, Connie watched every pitch of every game from the comfort of her kitchen table. She brought light, enthusiasm and humor to all who knew her, and she was loved by so many in our organization. Our thoughts are with the entire Attanasio family as we join them in mourning their loss.”

Donations can be made in memory of Constance Attanasio to the Innovation in Geriatric Medicine program at UCLA Health to support the work of Dr. Brandon Koretz.
