Rep. Snodgrass Applauds Governor’s “Year of the Kid”, Investment in Youth
MADISON – Today, Governor Tony Evers delivered his State of the State Address in the Wisconsin State Capitol, where he highlighted his vision for the next year.
Representative Lee Snodgrass (D-52) released the following statement:
“Governor Evers has always put the success of Wisconsin’s kids first. In his State of the State Address this evening, he outlined crucial ways he will prioritize the health and well-being of the next generation of leaders. From proposing additional funding for mental health initiatives in schools, making sure every kid is fed, ensuring clean drinking water and supporting working families via child care initiatives, Wisconsinites can see what our priorities are. As legislative Democrats, we will continue to uplift policies that support working families and our kids. I look forward to uplifting these proposals and more in his upcoming state budget and reminding my district that ‘what’s best for kids is what’s best for Wisconsin.’ “
