Rep. Margaret Arney Reacts to Governor Evers’ State of the State
(MADISON, Wis) – On Wednesday evening, Governor Tony Evers gave the 2025 State of the State address before a joint session of the Wisconsin Legislature. Rep. Margaret Arney (West Milwaukee/Wauwatosa) released the following statement in response:
Tonight, Governor Evers laid out a positive vision for the State of Wisconsin. Historic investments into K-12 education, lowering the cost of child care, and improving gun safety will have a lasting, beneficial impact across the entire state.
I hope that these initiatives will garner bipartisan support. Wisconsin needs investments in our children and we ought to be able to find common ground to do what is right for Wisconsin’s kids.
I am excited to get to work. We face serious challenges but I am optimistic that with collaboration and community, we can meet and overcome difficult challenges and move our state forward. I am ready and willing to help the Governor make his vision a reality.
