Milwaukee County Parks Celebrates Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with “We are the Change” Event

Milwaukee, WI – Milwaukee County Parks is honored to invite the community to join us for a special celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This year’s event, titled “We are the Change – A Celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.,” promises a vibrant showcase of music, dance, and spoken word performances, dedicated to commemorating the legacy of Dr. King.

Event Details:

Additionally, in honor of King Day, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center Annual Memberships will be sold at a discount. On Monday, January 20th only, you will receive $10 off an annual membership which gives you access to the fitness center, weight room, and boxing ring.

Special Guest Speaker:
We are excited to announce former Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele as our guest speaker. Mr. Abele’s commitment to public service and community development echoes the principles that Dr. King advocated for during his life.
