Milwaukee Board of School Directors Welcomes New Board Member
James M. Ferguson, II Takes Oath of Office to Represent District Four
Milwaukee, WI – On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, in front of friends and family, James M. Ferguson II took the oath of office to represent Milwaukee School Board District 4.
“The Milwaukee Board of School Directors is thrilled to welcome Director Ferguson,” said Board President Marva Herndon. “His personal and professional experiences, coupled with his unwavering dedication to our community, will be instrumental in driving positive change and supporting our mission to provide high-quality education for all students.”
Director Ferguson is a family man, husband, and brother with a background in entrepreneurship and a passion for lifelong learning.
President Herndon has assigned Director Ferguson to the committees on Parent and Community Engagement; Student Achievement and School Innovation; and Strategic Planning and Budget. “Director Ferguson’s oath of office marks a significant step forward in our ongoing efforts to enhance educational outcomes and support the diverse needs of our students. We look forward to his contributions and leadership in District 4.”
