MKE Brewing Celebrates 27 Years with Halloween Bash at Bayview Taproom

Milwaukee, WI – October 26, 2024 – MKE Brewing, one of Milwaukee’s most beloved craft breweries, is excited to announce its 27-year anniversary celebration at their newly opened Bayview Taproom. The all-day event promises to be a Halloween bash like no other, complete with the highly anticipated release of Louie’s Resurrection, a crowd-favorite brew brought back just for the occasion.

MKE Brewing, acquired by Eagle Park Brewing & Distilling co-founders Max and Jackson Borgardt and Jake Schinker in September 2022, opened its new Bayview Taproom on July 31, 2024. “MKE Brewing has been one of the founding craft breweries in this state for 27 years! We are honored to carry on the brand’s legacy, and what better way than with an epic party—with a spooky surprise,” said Max Borgardt, co-founder of Eagle Park Brewing & Distilling.

When asked about the “spooky surprise,” Max added, “We’re resurrecting our old friend Louie! We’ll be featuring the return of Louie’s Resurrection at the party, along with a 10mg mystery-flavored Alto from Eagle Park’s THC infused seltzer line.”

The Bayview Taproom at 2335 S. Kinnickinnic Ave. will undergo a spine-chilling transformation sure to delight. Guests in costume will receive a drink ticket redeemable for a $2 beer of their choice, and a costume contest with prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will take place at 8 p.m. Additional details on prizes will be announced soon.

• Drink Specials: $7 beer + shot combos, $7 Specialty Old Fashioneds, Anniversary cocktails

Special firkin beers for the day include (available while supplies last):

• Outboard, infused with Peach Rings
• Louie’s Resurrection, infused with Madagascar vanilla
• These limited-edition beers will be available while supplies last.

Full Event Schedule:

• 12:00 p.m. – Tapping the first Firkin: Outboard infused with Peach Rings
• 1:00 p.m. – Live music begins (Solo artist TBA)
• 2:00 p.m. – Tapping the Second Firkin: Louie’s Resurrection infused with Madagascar vanilla
• 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Evening band performance (Band TBA)
• 8:00 – 9:00 p.m. – Costume contest with prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
• 9:00 – 10:00 p.m. – DJ closing out (DJ TBA – will announce all bands on socials)
