Fiesta Selena to help launch fall events on Milwaukee’s south side

Alderman Scott Spiker is inviting area residents to take in Fiesta Selena – the Midwest’s largest Selena-themed festival – TOMORROW, Saturday, September 7.

Fiesta Selena will be held in the 13^th District at the Farmhouse Paint & Sip – 4511 S. 6th St., beginning at 11 a.m., and a full schedule of events can be found by visiting https://www.farmhouseart.com/fiesta-selena.

Alderman Spiker said the popular, family-friendly festival will include art classes and cultural art exhibits, live music, educational exhibits, food trucks, a fashion show, a Selena-themed talent competition and much more.

 “Fiesta Selena is not just a celebration of the queen of Tex-Mex (Selena Quintanilla), it also includes a diverse mix of art, music, and vendors – all with a distinct Latin flavor and positive vibes,” Alderman Spiker said.

“This event has something for people of all ages and interests, and I hope residents take advantage of the opportunity to connect with neighbors, enjoy the outdoors and sample some great food, art and music tomorrow at Fiesta Selena,” he said.
