“We are so excited to launch this new festival in September,” effused Cara Ogburn, Milwaukee Film’s Artistic Director. “We know that we have a dedicated documentary audience and we are putting the finishing touches on a slate of films that we can confidently say will use the power of nonfiction filmmaking to open hearts and minds, and inspire discussions that are timely and relevant right here in Milwaukee.”

The Dialogues Documentary Festival Early Ticket Package Flash Sale begins online at mkefilm.org/DDFtickets on Tuesday, 07/23, at 12:01 a.m. CST and will end the following day at 12:01 a.m. CST.

“While the themes explored and emotions inspired by these films run the gamut of what documentary can do, the post-screening discussions we’re envisioning will help us all know more about what work is being done locally that affects everyone as citizens and community members,” Artistic Director Cara Ogburn continued. “We think audiences will leave this festival feeling inspired, energized, educated, and ready to take personal actions toward the good,” she concluded.
