MADISON, Wis. – If you are covering the Wisconsin Supreme Court‘s decision concerning unstaffed absentee drop boxes, please consider the following statement from the Republican Party of Wisconsin:

“In a setback for both the separation of powers and public trust in our elections, the left-wing justices on the Supreme Court of Wisconsin have obeyed the demands of their out-of-state donors at the expense of Wisconsin. This latest attempt by leftist justices to placate their far-left backers will not go unanswered by voters.” —WisGOP Chairman Brian Schimming

  1. MischkaCEM says:

The Wisconsin Supreme Court erred in allowing “Drop Boxes” in the upcoming election, Unattended drop boxes encourage ballot stuffing and other illegal acts eroding the public’s confidence in fair and transparent elections. This decision must be reversed.

  2. mkwagner says:

Schimming fails to note that Wisconsin voters DID express their views when we elected Judge Janet thus turning SCOWis from an ideological, irrational arm of the Republican party. We stated emphatically that we are fed up with the reactionary ideology of the now minority members. We expect that the new majority will undo the numerous SCOWis decisions that placed the desires of wealthy individuals and corporations above the needs of Wisconsin citizens.
