The Milwaukee LGBT Community Center Announces Funding Campaign Has Surpassed Goal
MILWAUKEE, June 28, 2024 – Today, the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center announced that its funding campaign to sustain the organization has surpassed its goal and raised $65,947.04, ensuring that the organization will keep its doors open and maintain its vital services.
“We are unbelievably grateful for the generosity of the community, the Leonard-Litz Foundation, and Molson Coors,” said Interim Executive Director Ritchie T. Martin Jr. “It is deeply heartening to see such incredible support for the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center.”
The Milwaukee LGBT Community Center leadership and board of directors have developed a plan to ensure the financial health of the organization.
The Milwaukee LGBT Community Center provides many vital services to the community including free counseling services, support groups, youth services, recovery & victim services, older adult services, trans and non-binary services, and more.
