Tyler Kolek To Miss Final Two Regular Season Games

All-America guard injured during Feb. 28 game vs. Providence

Milwaukee – Marquette guard Tyler Kolek will miss the final two regular season games of 2023-24 with an oblique injury and will be re-evaluated prior to the BIG EAST Conference Tournament (March 13-16).

The Golden Eagles host UConn on Wednesday, March 6 and travel to Xavier on Saturday, March 9 to conclude the regular season.

Kolek, who was injured in the Feb. 28 matchup with Providence, also missed Saturday’s game at Creighton. The Golden Eagles have earned a first-round bye in the league tournament and don’t play until Thursday, March 14.

Kolek, an All-America candidate, leads the nation in assists (7.6 apg.) and is contributing 15.0 points and 4.7 rebounds per game while shooting 48.6 percent from the floor in an average of 32.4 minutes per night.
