MILWAUKEE (January 31st, 2024) – The seventh release in Lakefront’s Brewers’ Reserve Series. Started in 2022, this new run of limited brews allows their brewhouse team to play with barrel-aging niche beer styles, producing small batches of their finest work. Back in 2019, Lakefront produced a barleywine that was so reckless, so rambunctious, they had no option but to mellow it out in Bourbon barrels over 4 years. Expect finely folded layers of caramel, toffee-coated almonds, vanilla, pepper, and dried fruit. Their Brewers’ Reserve Series is packaged in 12 oz. cans and will only be available at the brewery in limited supply.

Lakefront will be releasing the 15.8% beast this Friday, February 2nd while supplies last. The beer will become available in their online ordering menu starting at 9AM at which time you can schedule a pickup time over the weekend. Cans will also be available for purchase at their main bar when they open their doors at 11AM. The 2019 Barleywine is available for to-go sales in single cans ($4) and in 6-packs ($20). Mix and match a 6-pack with their 2023 Brewers’ Reserve: Wheatwine.
