Ted Chisholm Announces Campaign for Milwaukee County Treasurer
Today, Ted Chisholm announced his campaign for Milwaukee County Treasurer.
“I am proud and excited to announce my campaign to serve the residents of Milwaukee County as our next Treasurer,” said Chisholm. “It is time for new leadership in the Treasurer’s Office, and my experience in county government and county administration has prepared me for this next step in my public service to our community.
“When elected, I plan to improve the customer service provided to our residents and the other county departments that depend on the Treasurer’s Office. As Treasurer, I will transform the office into a more reliable resource for all stakeholders involved in our county’s payment processes.
“We must prioritize modernizing our Treasurer’s Office so that we can provide a better quality of service to our community. We can also build stronger relationships with our community partners and begin meaningfully engaging with constituents and local elected leaders. I hope to earn your trust, confidence, and vote this fall.”
Chisholm most recently served as Senior Administrator for Management, Finance, and Strategy in the Milwaukee County Clerk of Circuit Court’s Office. Prior to that, he served as Chief of Staff for the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office, helping the Sheriff oversee an agency of 700 public servants. In 2020, Ted was recognized with the Sheriff’s Leadership Award and Distinguished Unit for his crisis leadership during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The primary election for Milwaukee County Treasurer will be held on August 13th, 2024 with the general election to follow on November 5th, 2024. For more information about Ted and his campaign, please visit www.tedchisholm.com.
