Suspects Criminally Charged in Connection to Officer Involved Shooting
MILWAUKEE, WI – On December 10, 2023, the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office issued criminal charges against Kenneth D. Brown and Kenneth D. Rogers in connection to a shooting that occurred on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at approximately 1:55 p.m., on the 400 block of N. 29th Street, and in connection to an officer involved shooting that occurred on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at N. 51st Street and W. Hampton Avenue in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Brown was charged with First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety – Party to a Crime, one count of Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, one count of Drive or Operate a Vehicle without Owner’s Consent, one count of Second Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, one count of Flee or Elude an Officer, one count of Obstructing an Officer, one count of Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine (>15-40g) – Party to a Crime, and one count of Possession with Intent to Deliver Fentanyl (<=10g) – Party to a Crime. If convicted, he could face up to 80 years in prison and fined up to $255,000.
Rogers was charged with one count of Possession of a Firearm by Adjudicated Delinquent, one count of Drive or Operate a Vehicle without Owner’s Consent – Party to a Crime, one count of Obstructing an Officer, one count of Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine – Party to a Crime (>15-40g), and one count of Possession with Intent to Deliver Fentanyl (<=10g) – Party to a Crime. If convicted, he could face up to 62.5 years in prison and fined up to $195,000.
