Free Tickets to ‘Laughs in Spanish’

We are out of tickets to Laughs in Spanish
For Urban Milwaukee members, we have a very limited number of free tickets available for Milwaukee Chamber Theatre’s Laughs in Spanish.
The company’s season opening show, written by Alexis Scheer, is a contemporary family comedy that discusses a number of contemporary themes, including single motherhood, divorce, pregnancy, recreational marijuana use, same-sex relationships and immigration. Laughs in Spanish has been described as “a joyous, downright hilarious snapshot of Cuban and Colombian-American culture set in the heart of Miami’s Wynwood arts district.” (The script includes language that some may consider profane used for comic intent.) The production features vibrant colors, recorded music and exuberant dancing with lights moderately changing color and intensity during scenic transitions, as well as some light use of smoke or haze in limited moments in the show.
Urban Milwaukee members may reserve up to two tickets to the Oct. 5 performance at 7:30 p.m., worth $45 per ticket, while supplies last.
