After five years of almost constant road construction along the East Capitol Drive corridor, Outpost Natural Foods Co-op wants to give shoppers a bit of a break with a “Feed Your Soul Community Dinner,” Wednesday, October 11, from 4 – 6 p.m. at its 100 E. Capitol Drive, Milwaukee store.

“Come in from the road construction and enjoy a homecooked meal,” says Margaret Mittelstadt, director of community relations at Outpost Natural Foods Co-op. “Everyone is welcome! Dine in or take out.”

For just $5, enjoy delicious Co-op Made Jambalaya over rice with a cornbread muffin. Classic and vegetarian options available. And to keep the fun soulful community vibe, DJ LoFi will be in house spinning retro music. More details at www.outpost.coop/soul.

Outpost plans to host additional Community Dinners in the coming year.
