Supervisor Vincent Encourages Public Participation at Philippine Cultural & Civic Center’s 10th Annual Health Fair
MILWAUKEE – Tomorrow, August 26, 2023, the Philippine Cultural & Civic Center in Zablocki Park Pavilion, located at 3717 W. Howard Ave, will hold their 10th Annual Health Fair. The event is open to the public and will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Supervisor Kathleen Vincent made the following statement:
“I am continually impressed by the dedication of the organizers, volunteers, and medical professionals who tirelessly provide these essential services to our community members in need,” said Supervisor Vincent. “As we mark the ten-year anniversary of the Health Fair, it is evident that this initiative is about more than just about medical care; it has been a beacon of hope for many in the community. It is a testament to the spirit of unity, service, and compassion in Milwaukee County.”
The event will offer several health screenings including asthma checks, blood pressure readings, body mass index evaluations, diabetes glucose checks, and more. Advanced registration will allow participants to benefit from cholesterol checks and physical examinations.
