Erpenbach Statement on GOP Medical Cannabis Bill

(MADISON)  “Once again Senator Felzkowski and the Republicans have introduced a bill that both politicizes and taxes people’s medicine.

Setting up a political commission to be in charge of whether people get access to medication, and dictating the way in which they can consume it, isn’t what the Wisconsinites advocating for this bill have asked for.

I believe that people should have access to safe, legal cannabis, under the direction of their trusted physician.  I hope that we can move forward with a bill that does that, but Senator Felzkowski’s bill isn’t it.”
