USA Triathlon Road Closures Announced
MILWAUKEE (Aug. 5, 2021) – The USA Triathlon has announced road closures for the 2021 Toyota USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships taking place along Milwaukee’s lakefront this weekend.
Saturday, August 7, 2021
- Michigan Street (East of Lincoln Memorial Drive) – Closed 4:30am – 1:30pm on Saturday
- North Harbor Drive (from Chicago to E. Michigan) – Closed 4:30am – 1:30pm on Saturday
- Lincoln Memorial Drive – Closed 4:30am – 1:30pm on Saturday
- Northbound and Southbound lanes of LMD CLOSED from E. Michigan Street to Lake Drive
- Off-ramp from I-794 West to Lincoln Memorial Drive to remain closed until 1:30pm
- Mason St., E. Lagoon Dr., E. Lafayette Hill Dr., E. Water Tower Rd, E. Ravine Rd.
- No thru traffic due to Lincoln Memorial Drive closure – 6:30am – 1:00pm on Saturday
- I-794 North – Closed 4:30am – 1:00pm on Saturday
- All lanes of I-794 North from Lincoln Memorial Drive to E. Howard Ave.
- Howard Ave. – Closed 6:30am – 1:00pm – SATURDAY ONLY
- Eastbound and Westbound lanes from I-794 to S. Lake Drive
- Lake Drive – Closed 6:30am – 1:00pm – SATURDAY ONLY
- Northbound and Southbound lanes from E. Howard Ave. to E. College Ave
- Michigan Street (East of Lincoln Memorial Drive) – Closed 4:30am – 12:30pm on Sunday
- North Harbor Drive (from Chicago to E. Michigan) – Closed 4:30am – 12:30pm on Sunday
- Lincoln Memorial Drive – Closed 4:30am – 12:30pm on Sunday
- Northbound and Southbound lanes of LMD CLOSED from E. Michigan Street to Lake Drive
