Supervisor Taylor and Dream Team United to Host Pop-Up Community Giveaway Sunday
MILWAUKEE – Supervisor Sequanna Taylor and Dream Team United will host a Pop-Up Community Giveaway this Sunday, March 28 from 2-4 p.m. at Monumental Missionary Baptist Church, located at 2407 W. North Ave.
“We are a group of individuals, businesses, and elected officials who deeply understand the challenges that our community faces,” Said Supervisor Taylor. “That is what makes this so special. This is for us by us. The community pop-ups we host continue to serve our neighbors who are in need.”
Event organizers will be handing out free towels, soap, and groceries as supplies last. Lasagna Love will cook lasagna for the first 100 attendees. Johnsonville will donate cases of meat and send seven volunteers to assist at the event.
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to unfold, Dream Team United and community partners will continue to raise vital funds and collect donations to respond to increasing demand. Donations and volunteers are encouraged to support.
