First Stage is hosting its 11th Annual – and first-ever virtual – Wine Tasting & Dinner on Friday, November 20, 2020. Guests ages 21 and older will have the opportunity to sip on specially selected wines while feasting on Chef David Magnasco’s newest culinary adventure – “Pasta da Maddalena” – from the comfort and safety of their own homes. Guests may purchase At-Home Party Crates from two up to ten people, which includes the necessary ingredients for the meal and wine. A specially-selected six-pack of featured wines is also available for purchase. Chef Magnasco will lead guests through a virtual cooking demonstration, while Sommelier Philip MacConnell and Wine Specialist Dan Grenda will share their knowledge on the specially selected wines for the evening.. In addition, the virtual presentation will feature a lively program including a silent auction and entertainment from First Stage alumni and students. Hosts for the evening are First Stage Board Member La’Ketta Caldwell, Managing Director Betsy Corry and Artistic Director Jeff Frank.

The virtual format of the Annual Wine Tasting & Dinner this year ensures the health and safety of guests and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic. Proceeds from the event will support First Stage’s mission of transforming lives through theater.
