13th District Alderman Scott Spiker is encouraging residents to take part in the Garden District’s Tour of Homes set to take place this Sunday, September 27th from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The event will showcase landscaping designs and ideas of 11 homes within the district. Those partaking are encouraged to view the houses via car or bike, wear a mask and practice proper social distancing. Homeowners at certain stops will be available to answer questions about their designs.

“Homeowners throughout the Garden District take great pride in creatively landscaping their homes, and this event is a great way to showcase that aspect of the district,” said Alderman Spiker. “I hope residents take advantage of this opportunity to connect with neighbors, take in the district and pick up some inspiration for landscaping ideas of their own along the way.”

The Tour of Homes is hosted by the Garden District Neighborhood Association. A list of addresses participating in the event, landscape themes and a suggested route are available on the Garden District Facebook page. For more information or questions, please contact Dawn Riegel with the Garden District Neighborhood Association at 414-379-2450.
