DPW Statement on President Trump’s Announced Visit to Mosinee, WI
(WISCONSIN) — The following is a statement from Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Ben Wikler on President Trump’s announced visit to Mosinee, Wisconsin:
“Instead of traveling to Wisconsin to remind us of his disastrous response to the coronavirus, Trump should stay in DC, sign a bill to get relief to workers, and get this pandemic under control. After five months in which Trump deliberately downplayed the virus, 1000 Wisconsinites are dead, hundreds of thousands are out of work, and parents all over the state are terrified that their kids are falling behind. It didn’t have to be this bad. Trump has failed at his job. Wisconsin needs action, not more of Trump’s lies and excuses.”
