Come out and support your local artists, makers and musicians at a Sunday afternoon pop-up in the front yards of homes in the 1700-1800 block of N. 52nd St. in Washington Heights Neighborhood of Milwaukee on Sunday, September 13 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. The front yard pop-ups will be located on 52nd St. between Washington Blvd and Vine St.

Each artist/maker/musician derives part or all of their income from sales of their art at events, art fairs and street fairs, which have all been cancelled for the foreseeable future. Your invited to stop by and show your support for your neighbors. You’ll find new decor and accessories for your home and yourself, jewelry, clothing and personal accessories, body care goods, handmade fabric face masks and so much more!

• Milwaukee Artists for Racial Justice (MKE-ARJ): 100% of donations collected from art are distributed to fight for Racial Justice across the city of Milwaukee
• Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design Students: Anna Siemsen a Washington Heights resident will be offering her unique designs screen printed on sweatshirts, T-shirts and tote bags; Sara Moralez – Acrylic & wood jewelry, mixed-media paintings; Helena Baka – polymer clay figures

• Whitton’s Mittens/Magolloubee Aprons: you probably know the mother/daughter mitten making duo from the winter months but year around they make fun and stylish hand-sewn fabric aprons for all ages.

SAFE SHOPPING GUIDELINES:
• All artists/makers/musicians will be wearing a face mask and practicing safe distancing when they interact with you. Please do the same and wear a mask. The city of Milwaukee mandates face masks be worn at all public events and are required at our pop-up.
• Attendees must maintain social distancing. Each maker reserves the right to limit the number of people in their selling area at any given time.
• You may be offered hand sanitizer at each table/tent before you begin browsing.
• Each pop-up takes place on the private property of a resident. Please be respectful of their property, leaving no trash behind and cleaning up after your pet (if you bring one along).
• Children should be supervised by adult/parent/caregiver while shopping and look with their eyes, not their hands 🙂
• Dogs and pets must be leashed and under your control at all times when visiting the pop-up.
• Anyone not conforming to these policies will be asked to leave the private property. We need your cooperation to be able to put this event together and be successful.
• All arrangements are subject to change to conform to quickly changing conditions.
