CUNA Mutual Group is newest Gold Member of Wisconsin LGBT Chamber

MILWAUKEE — The Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome CUNA Mutual Group as the organization’s newest gold member. CUNA Mutual Group has previously been a regular corporate member of the LGBT Chamber since early 2018.

“We are honored that CUNA Mutual Group has decided to increase its partnership with the LGBT Chamber and become our newest gold member,” said Jason Rae, President & CEO of the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce. “We are thrilled about the impact that this increased investment will have in building and supporting the LGBT and allied business community around Wisconsin.”

Like the credit unions and communities we serve, we know we’re stronger when we leverage the diverse backgrounds, skills, knowledge and perspectives of our customers, vendors and employees. We believe our partnership with the LGBT Chamber will allow us to have an even bigger impact.”

As a gold member, CUNA Mutual Group will receive a seat on the Chamber’s Leadership Council, as well as other benefits above the regular corporate level. In addition, CUNA Mutual Group has been an active participant in the LGBT Workplace Alliance which connects corporate employee resource groups and in the Chamber’s Financial Services Council.

The Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce is an organization of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and LGBT-allied businesses, corporations and professionals throughout the state of Wisconsin. It offers networking opportunities, business development efforts within the LGBT community, and educational programming to its members. The organization has more than 670  members from around the state. In 2015, the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce received the National Chamber of the Year Award from the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC).
