Bettina Madini at Gallerie M
Madini has been creating art for almost 20 years and has a vast collection of paintings in watercolors, acrylics, oils and pastels on paper, canvas and silks.
Gallerie M is proud to welcome Bettina Madini for the month of September (exhibit ends Sept. 30, 2018). Originally from Berlin, Madini has been creating art for almost 20 years and has a vast collection of paintings in watercolors, acrylics, oils and pastels on paper, canvas and silks. She is currently focusing efforts on creating wearable art, which culminated with the recent launch of her “Magical Bodies” designer wearables in 2018.
Gallerie M is showcasing her painted works during the featured exhibition. During the month of September, locals and visitors alike can also meet Madini during the following special events:
- Guided Tour and Talk Back with Madini, September 16 – Next Sunday, Madini will bring a number of guests on a private guided tour of her work and share the inspiration behind her pieces. The tour will be held from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.
- Gallery Closing Party, September 28 – From 5:00 – 9:00 p.m., the InterContinental Milwaukee will host a closing party celebrating and thanking Madini for her work. Guests can speak with Madini at this time and can enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres courtesy of the hotel.
Gallerie M, located on the first floor of downtown Milwaukee’s InterContinental Milwaukee, regularly features inspiring local and regional work. The curated space rotates collections every four to six weeks and is free and open daily for the public. With Marcus Hotels & Resorts’ recent announcement to rebrand the InterContinental Milwaukee into a premier arts hotel in the heart of the city’s arts and entertainment district, the hotel will build on Gallerie M’s success and further explore its focus on and support for local and regional art.
