Free Street Party Will Precede Flat-Out Friday Indoor Motorcycle Racing

(MILWAUKEE, WI) – With 150,000 riders expected to descend on Milwaukee for the Harley-Davidson® 115th Anniversary Celebration, the Wisconsin Center District will host a free street party on Kilbourn Avenue, in front of the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, 400 W. Kilbourn Avenue, on Friday, August 31, before the start of Mama Tried’s Flat-Out Friday Indoor Motorcycle Racing powered by Harley-Davidson®, at the Arena.
The street party is open to all, and includes free motorcycle parking, vendors, great food, a craft beer and whiskey bar, and live music by five celebrated Milwaukee groups and artists. Among the highlights are the Harley-Davidson® Rebel One truck and 2019 models, tacos from BelAir Cantina, barbecue from Doc’s Smokehouse, a margarita bar, and appearances by Milwaukee Admirals and Brewcity Bruisers. Attendees wearing a Harley-Davidson® 115th Anniversary Celebration Rally Pack wristband will save $1 on beer or soft drinks.
The party kicks off at noon and runs until 8:00 p.m. Entertainment begins at 2:00 p.m., with artists performing 45-minute sets as follows:
2:00 p.m. – Taj Raiden
3:00 p.m. – Faux Fiction
4:00 p.m. – Denny Lanez
5:00 p.m. – Telethon
6:00 p.m. – Whips
Doors for Mama Tried’s Flat-Out Friday Motorcycle Racing open at 5:00 p.m. and racing starts at 7:00 p.m. Great seats are still available! General admission tickets are $18.00, and $28.00 or $83.00 for reserved seats. Prices include a $3/ticket facility fee. Tickets for Flat-Out Friday are sold at the Miller High Life Theatre Box Office, 500 W. Kilbourn Avenue, by phone at 1-800-745-3000, or online at Ticketmaster.com. Tickets will also be available for purchase during the street party.
