Find your local flavor at the Taste of the Gateway event

Alderman Terry L. Witkowski invites you to attend the Gateway to Milwaukee’s Taste of the Gateway event on Thursday, August 16, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Farmers’ Market Grounds, S. 6th St. and W. Norwich St. This Garden District event is free and family friendly, it will feature food and beverage samples from more than 12 different area restaurants, craft beer sales from Saint Francis Brewery, a craft area for kids, local and national artist displays and live entertainment.
Alderman Witkowski said, “The Taste of the Gateway event is a great way to get to know some of the best locally owned and operated restaurants in the community. I encourage everyone to stop by Thursday and check out this great event.”

Other events coming soon to the 6th and Norwich market grounds:
- August 15 from 5 – 8 p.m. – National Night Out
- August 17 approximately 7:45 p.m. – Movie in the Garden – “Coco”
- August 18 from 1 – 5 p.m. – Artist Market
- August 22 at 6 p.m. – Story in the Garden. Theme: Birthday Party with cake, ice cream, stories and games.
