Contract executed for WisDOT’s I-94 North-South Projects Southern Segment

Work set to begin June 22 to rebuild northbound lanes

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s (WisDOT) I-94 North-South project team is announcing the execution of the contract to begin construction on the south segment project. Michels Corporation headquartered in Brownsville, Wisconsin was the low bidder for the work valued at $168,872,899.28 which was the lowest of the three bids received.

Michels is the prime contractor with the following subcontractors involved in the reconstruction project:
