Pop-Up beer Garden featuring the ‘Alestream’ Coming to Jacobus Park in Wauwatosa
The Milwaukee County Parks operated beer garden will feature craft beers from Good City Brewing, MKE brewing and Third Space Brewing.
Wauwatosa – A pop-up beer garden, featuring the ‘Wisconsin AleStream’ is coming to Jacobus Park in Wauwatosa today and this weekend.
The Milwaukee County Parks operated beer garden will feature craft beers from Good City Brewing, MKE brewing and Third Space Brewing, soda and snacks will also be available for purchase and beer gardeners can also bring their your own food and non-alcoholic drinks.
The specially adapted ‘AleStream’ vehicle is a partnership with Beechwood Distributing and is sponsored by Milwaukee area Harley Davidson dealership’s 115th Anniversary Celebration. The AleStream will be set up by the historic pavilion in Jacobus Park, a short walk from Honey Creek Parkway. The pop-up beer garden will open Friday 5pm – 10pm, Saturday & Sunday 11am – 10pm. Last call at 9pm.
“Beer gardens in the parks are a highlight of the summer for many Milwaukee County residents, and we often get requests to bring our Traveling Beer Garden to more parks.” Said Guy Smith, interim Director of Milwaukee County Parks’. The ‘Wisconsin Alestream’ gives us another way to bring a beer garden to more neighborhood parks and bring more neighbors together for a fun weekend that also helps support the park system.
The AleStream will also ‘pop-up’ at Cooper Park from June 22-24 and Pulaski Cudahy Park from August 17-19
