Comet Café to end its monthly Beer School after 12 year run with Beer School #150: The End
Comet Café Beer School 150: The End is Tuesday, June 5th 2018 from 6pm-10pm
Since it’s inception in January of 2006, Comet Café’s Beer School has been a staple in Milwaukee’s craft beer community. Beer School is a ticketed, monthly tasting of rare and unique beers hosted at Comet on the first Tuesday of every month. The various themes have included specific beer styles, regions, and featured guest breweries.
Comet Café is ending the long running and influential series on Tuesday, June 5th 2018 with its final installment: Beer School 150: The End.
“For this event we have invited some of our favorite breweries to join us in celebrating,” said Nicholaus Westfahl, General Manager of Comet Café. “We are so lucky to have such a strong and supportive craft beer community in Milwaukee and we are very proud of the role we play in it. It is incredible how much the industry has changed since we first started this fun little experiment. After nearly thirteen years and 150 months of planning, promoting, and executing Beer School it is time to humbly hang up our hats. But don’t worry, we will still be doing the Beer Dinners periodically.”
