DPW Ads: Leah Vukmir & Kevin Nicholson Are “Roy Moore’s WI Enablers”
Vukmir and Nicholson have stood silently by the Republican Party as it funds alleged serial sexual predator Roy Moore
MADISON — The Democratic Party of Wisconsin today launched Google Search ads holding right-wing politician Leah Vukmir and out-of-state billionaire puppet Kevin Nicholson accountable for standing silently by the Republican Party as it endorses and sends $170,000 to elect Roy Moore.
The ads target Wisconsin voters conducting Google searches related to Roy Moore, Leah Vukmir, and Kevin Nicholson, and focus on the Republican National Committee’s support and $170,000 donation for Moore, highlighting that Nicholson and Vukmir have so far stood by their party’s decision to re-endorse and bankroll Moore.
An additional variation on the ads notes that Illinois CEO Dick Uihlein is funding both Nicholson and Moore, and attacks Nicholson for refusing to return his $5,400 donation from Uihlein.
“Now’s the time for Leah Vukmir and Kevin Nicholson to cast politics aside, put Wisconsin principles over party and donor allegiances, and reject Roy Moore’s values,” said Brad Bainum, Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesperson for the 2018 Senate race. “But they aren’t; Vukmir and Nicholson are instead standing silently by the Republican Party as it supports and funds an alleged serial sexual predator with whom they hope to serve in the U.S. Senate.”
