MorganMyers Promotes Two
"They work hard to deliver value to our clients on a daily basis," says MorganMyers Principal Linda Wenck.
Waukesha, Wis. (Sept. 14, 2017) – Strategic communications firm MorganMyers is pleased to promote Sarah Duwe to the role of counselor and Joy Benning to the role of senior associate.
“Both Sarah and Joy have demonstrated increasing leadership and ingenuity in their client work, as well as on behalf of our industry,” says MorganMyers Principal Linda Wenck. “They work hard to deliver value to our clients on a daily basis.”
Duwe leads the MorganMyers stakeholder value work on behalf of the Illinois Soybean Association, helping plan and execute multiple award-winning programs designed to engage consumers regarding food and agriculture issues. This is her second promotion since joining MorganMyers in 2012 thanks to her capacity for continuous learning and willingness to step up to new opportunities. Prior to leading the ISA business, Duwe contributed to several major MorganMyers accounts, including Case IH, Oscar Mayer and Illinois Farm Families. She also plays an active role in the National AgriMarketing Association, currently serving as vice president of the Badger Chapter and as a member of the regional awards program committee.
“Continuous learning is a top priority at MorganMyers and that culture has helped me advance my career,” says Duwe. “I look forward to taking the next step in my expanded role.”
MorganMyers’ newest senior associate, Joy Benning, leads ISA efforts to connect with Chicago consumers and legislators about the everyday impacts of soybeans on the city they know and love. She also leads MorganMyers’ social media outreach initiatives. Benning is a talented writer and content curator, excellent thinker and planner, and has been involved in a wide variety of issues management and marketing communications efforts for clients ranging from Merck Animal Health to Oscar Mayer to Illinois Farm Families since joining MorganMyers in 2013. She is a member of the American Advertising Federation-Cedar Valley chapter and chairs the organization’s American Advertising Awards program.
“Joy loves a challenge and is always interested in learning something new, whether that’s leading award-winning social media efforts or managing a successful event linking farmers to consumers,” adds Janine Stewart, MorganMyers principal. “She is a great team player, and everyone wants her on their team.”
“I’m excited and grateful for the opportunity to keep growing at MorganMyers,” notes Benning. “I look forward to continuing in our effort to build, protect and promote the great brands we get to work with.”
