One Wisconsin Now Statements on the Inauguration of Donald Trump
“It is up to us to stand up to discrimination.”
MADISON, Wis. — The following are the statements of One Wisconsin Now Executive Director Scot Ross on today’s inauguration of Donald Trump as President:
“The inauguration of Donald Trump today, like every presidential inauguration, represents a change. One administration ends, a new administration begins.
“What does not change today are our responsibilities as ‘we the people.’
“It is up to us to stand up to discrimination. It is up to us to speak out against inequality. It is up to us to work for justice. It is up to us to fight to make our communities and our country a better place, with opportunity for all.
“And that is what we intend to do each and every day of Donald Trump’s presidency, God help us all.”
