Full closure on I-41/ US 45 south bound Saturday night

By - Sep 9th, 2016 09:10 am
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s Zoo Interchange team will be placing tub girders for the new system ramp connecting I-94 EB and I-41/US 45 NB. Work is planned for both Friday and Saturday nights. The work beginning Saturday night will extend into Sunday. With the possibility of thunderstorms developing on Friday night, the final times for the closures on Saturday are still under review. If the work is not able to be accomplished on Friday night, the closures on Sunday could be extended for a full 30 hours. All lanes will be reopened no later than 5 a.m. on Monday morning.

There are expected to be some travel delays with the closures beginning Saturday night. If the work extends into later in the day on Sunday, it is possible that south bound backups will develop.
