Cache Brings Latin Flare to River Rhythms This Week
Cache brings a Latin flare to River Rhythms with their fun blend of salsa music and big band influence, sure to get the crowd dancing!
Milwaukee, WI— River Rhythms, downtown’s destination for music on Wednesday evenings, welcomes Cache to the stage this week, Wednesday, August 17th. The free concert series takes place from 6:30-9 p.m. every Wednesday through August 31st in Pere Marquette Park on Old World Third St. between State and Kilbourn.
Cache brings a Latin flare to River Rhythms with their fun blend of salsa music and big band influence, sure to get the crowd dancing! As an added bonus, Cache will be bringing along Proyecto Bembe, an Afro-Latino percussion and performing arts program for school-age youth in Milwaukee’s South Side. They will be performing a mini show before intermission.
Miller products, wine, a Korbel cocktail, and soda will be available at the Westown beverage tent with all proceeds going to benefit the free event. Patrons can also enjoy food from Laura’s Gourmet Popcorn and Tasty Cafe.
In collaboration with Newaukee to further enhance Westown Wednesdays, the Newaukee Night Market will be taking place from 2nd to 4th street on Wisconsin Avenue tomorrow evening from 5pm- 10pm. Patrons are able to walk between both River Rhythms and the Night Market throughout the evening. The Night Market is a free, open-air market that offers a wide variety of experiences for people of all backgrounds and ages.
