Contractor Fair Will Open The Doors To Doing Business With The Housing Authority

$200 million in contracts expected to be awarded during next 5 years

MILWAUKEE—The Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (HACM) will host a contractor fair on Wednesday, August 17 to provide contractors with information about doing business with HACM and $200 million of contracts expected to be awarded over the next five years.

Contractors can register for the event at www.hacm.org.

The event will feature two informational presentations from 10:00 – 10:30 am and from 1:00 – 1:30 pm that will include an overview of the upcoming contracting opportunities, including demolition work and new construction of hundreds of housing units in the Westlawn neighborhood. Presenters will also discuss ongoing maintenance bid opportunities and key elements of doing business with HACM. Between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, several Question & Answer stations will be open to allow contractors to speak directly with HACM staff about the contracting process, workforce development strategies, and contracting goals.
