Common Council President Ashanti Hamilton Endorses David Crowley for State Assembly

Milwaukee, WI David Crowley, candidate for the Democratic nomination in Wisconsin’s State Assembly District 17, is proud to announce the support of Milwaukee Common Council President Ashanti Hamilton.

“I have watched David grow as a leader in Milwaukee and am proud of his development. He has all the skills and tools to be one of the more vocal advocates in Milwaukee for a long time to come,” said President Ashanti Hamilton. “I gladly endorse his candidacy for the State Assembly and look forward to working with him in the coming years.”

“Common Council President Ashanti Hamilton is an example of committed leadership in Milwaukee,” said David Crowley following the endorsement.  “I know we are going to see even more of his leadership as President of the Common Council. I am humbled by his support and I look forward to working him and the Common Council to improve the quality of living in our city.”

David Crowley is a long time resident of the 17th District, ACLU board member, and Policy Director for State Senator Nikiya Harris Dodd. The primary election is August 9th, 2016.
