Wisconsin AFL-CIO Endorses David Crowley for State Assembly

Milwaukee, WI – David Crowley, candidate for the Democratic nomination in Wisconsin’s State Assembly District 17, is honored to announce the endorsement of his campaign by the Wisconsin AFL-CIO.
“David has spent his career serving the people of Milwaukee. Right now in Wisconsin we need leaders like David to fight for legislation that helps to support and lift up working families,” said Phil Neuenfeldt, President of the Wisconsin AFL-CIO. “The Wisconsin AFL-CIO supports David and we look forward to his election to the State Assembly.”
“Wisconsin AFL-CIO is one of the organizations which has led the fight for workers rights across the state. In Wisconsin, we have seen an unmitigated attack on everything from workers pensions to the right to collectively bargain,” said David Crowley. “What has resulted is Wisconsin has seen a stagnation in economic growth and an increase in poverty. When I am elected I look forward to working with them to help working families across Wisconsin.”
David Crowley is a long time resident of the 17th District, ACLU board member, and Policy Director for State Senator Nikiya Harris Dodd. The primary election is August 9th, 2016.
