Free Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra Performance at Boerner Botanical Gardens June 30
The MSO will present a festive and patriotic program, featuring the music of Strauss, Dvořák, Tchaikovsky, Sousa, and others.
Hales Corners, WI (June 23, 2016) —Milwaukee County Parks and the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra will present a free MSO outdoor concert at Boerner Botanical Gardens, Thursday, June 30 from 7:30–8:30 p.m. The Botanical Gardens, Milwaukee County’s Living Museum, is located at 9400 Boerner Drive, in Whitnall Park.
Under the direction of Assistant Conductor Yaniv Dinur, the MSO will present a festive and patriotic program, featuring the music of Strauss, Dvořák, Tchaikovsky, Sousa, and others.
The MSO is ranked among the top orchestras in the country. Since its inception in 1959, the orchestra has received critical acclaim for artistic excellence. As a cornerstone organization in Milwaukee’s arts community, the MSO provides enrichment and education activities for audiences of every age, economic status, and background.
Guests attending the concert are reminded to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.
Picnicking before or during the program is allowed. Patrons may bring their own picnic suppers or purchase food and beverage items from Zilli Hospitality Group, the on-site caterer.
Admission to the Botanical Gardens is free after 6 p.m. Parking is also free.
Before 6 p.m., admission to the Botanical Gardens is $5.50 for adults age 18 and up; $4.50 for students of any age with IDs, Milwaukee County seniors age 60 and up with IDs, and people with disabilities; and $3.50 for youths age 6-17.
