MILWAUKEE- Chevy Johnson, candidate for Alderman in Milwaukee’s Second District is honored to announce the endorsement of the Wisconsin Federation of Nurses & Health Professionals.
“Chevy will work hard to create positive health outcomes for the city of Milwaukee as Alderman. Furthermore, he has proven to be a champion for working families with his work ethic and commitment. I look forward to working with him in the future,” noted Candice Owley, President of the organization.
“Starting with Act 10, hard working people such as nurses and health professionals have been under attack by divisive and degrading policies emanating from Madison. As Alderman, I promise to fight for working people across the city,” noted Johnson. “The good folks at the Wisconsin Federation of Nurses & Health Professionals have stood up and fought for working families and increased access to healthcare across Wisconsin. Once elected, I look forward to working with them to support healthy outcomes and lifestyles for Milwaukeeans.”

Chevy Johnson recently served as Staff Assistant to the Mayor of Milwaukee and emerged from a five person Primary Election contest as the top vote getter earning 38% of the vote. A long time resident of the 2nd district, Chevy is committed to bringing responsible, accountable, and dependable leadership to the Milwaukee Common Council. The General Election is April 5th, 2016.
