Rep. Goyke Commemorates Veterans Day 2015
Today our nation pauses to recognize and give thanks to the brave men and women who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States.
State Representative Evan Goyke (D-Milwaukee) released the following statement in commemoration of Veterans Day 2015:
“Today our nation pauses to recognize and give thanks to the brave men and women who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States.
On Veterans Day we must also recognize our nation’s military families who experience great hardship while their loved one is serving far from home.
I encourage all Wisconsin families to talk with their children or grandchildren about the importance of thanking veterans for their service, as well as educating them about the vital role our service men and women have in defending freedom at home and abroad.
On behalf of the State of Wisconsin, and the residents of the 18th Assembly District, I would like to thank all Wisconsin veterans for their honorable service and sacrifices. We are forever grateful.”
