Summer Soulstice Music Festival Returns for 15th Year
Milwaukee’s Best Free Showcase For Local Music Includes Diverse Line-Up

Milwaukee’s official solstice celebration –The Summer Soulstice Music Festival – returns this year on Saturday, June 20th from 10 am. – Midnight on East North Ave. The event is celebrating its 15th year as the best free showcase of Milwaukee’s top music talent. It’s hosted by The East Side Business Improvement District in partnership with Made In Milwaukee and presented by Miller Lite.
Before it was the trend to do so, this festival has always featured the top local bands playing original music and gained the reputation over the past 15 years for offering the best way to sample the local music scene in one night. This year 21 diverse Milwaukee acts are showcased including New Age Narcissim, in celebration of Summer Soulstice’s history as one of the few festivals that includes hip-hop as part of its line-up.
For the second year in a row The Young Musicians Showcase kicks off the music. School of Rock made its debut at Summer Soulstice last year, and they return this year along with The Batterman Ensemble (Wisconsin Conservatory of Music).
