MILWAUKEE— (November 3, 2014) – Wisconsin’s first annual “My Little Pony” fan convention – Ponyville Ciderfest – is expected to bring 600 fans to the Hyatt Regency this weekend from November 7-9.
Originally a television show geared toward young girls, “My Little Pony” has developed a much broader appeal and now counts fans of all ages, including “Bronies” (a term that associates “bros” and pony), among its avid fanbase.
Ponyville Ciderfest celebrates everything that is “My Little Pony.” The event will feature many faces of the TV show including: Andrea Libman (voice of Pinkie Pie/Flutteershy), Peter New (voice of Big Mac), Sam Vincent, (voice of Flim), Michelle Creber and Band (voice of Apple Bloom), Ingrid Nilson, (voice of Maud Pie) and G.M Berrow (author of “My Little Pony” and show writer).
Fun-filled events include The Grand Galloping Gala (a formal dance event with all proceeds going to charity), an Apple Pie Bake Off, a Saturday night concert filled with “My Little Pony” fan musicians and performers, collectible card game tournaments hosted by Enterplay and more!
