MILWAUKEE _ When Summerfest kicks off on June 23, some UWM students will get the opportunity of a lifetime: to share the stage with legendary rockers, The Rolling Stones. Members of the UWM Concert Chorale will provide back-up vocals as the band performs one of the summer’s biggest concerts.

“This is an amazing opportunity for our students,” said Zack Durlam, director of choral activities at UWM. “Not only do they get to perform with world-famous legends of rock music, they also get to briefly experience the inner workings of the music business.”

The UWM Concert Chorale is the most select of five choral ensembles directed at UWM and features top-performing male and female vocalists.

The Rolling Stones’ performance on June 23 is part of their 15-city Zip Code tour. For ticket information, visit rollingstones.com.
