What’s a great way to celebrate the beginning of summer and benefit a great cause?Dancing (or lazily lounging) on a boat on Lake Michigan with a bunch of friendly, fun people on a warm, breezy night to an eclectic mix of
sounds reminiscent of Pixies, Nirvana, Talking Heads, Buddy Holly, David Bowie, and Led Zeppelin, paired with colorful visuals and a charismatic, energetic stage show, all while enjoying a crisp cold beverage. The 2014 Uncle Larry Concert Cruise is here, and this year, Uncle Larry has teamed up with Milwaukee Riverkeeper.A percentage of Uncle Larry’s profits will be donated to Milwaukee Riverkeeper, who’s mission is to protect water quality and wildlife habitat throughout our river’s corridors, and to advocate for sound land use in the Milwaukee, Menomonee, and Kinnickinnic River Watersheds.
The event will be held on Saturday, June 7 at 9pm, located at The Milwaukee Boat Line dock, 101 West Michigan Street Milwaukee, WI 53203. The boat leaves the dock at 9pm.
UL will host this amazing voyage of the Milwaukee River and the Lake Michigan coast of Milwaukee on the Vista King, Milwaukee’s largest sightseeing vessel.
