Milwaukee Police Pursuit Ends in Tragic Collision: One Dead, Several Injured
Milwaukee Police were involved in a vehicle pursuit that occurred on Monday, October 19, 2026, at approximately 2:31 p.m., on N. 22nd St. and W. McKinley Ave. Milwaukee Police attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle sought in a narcotics investigation and the vehicle fled in a reckless manner. The pursuit ended when the suspect vehicle (Unit #1) collided with another vehicle (Unit #2) on N. 30th St. and W. Center St. The 40-year-old male driver and 36-year-old female passenger of Unit #1 were taken into custody and received medical attention for non-fatal injuries. The driver of Unit #2, a 28-year-old, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The passenger of Unit #2 was pronounced deceased. This is an open and ongoing investigation. Criminal charges will be reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
