Mobtoberfest Returns on Saturday, October 17
MILWAUKEE, WI – Grab your lederhosen or dirndl and enjoy some polka as MobCraft Beer brings back their annual Mobtoberfest celebration on Saturday, October 17 with doors opening at 11:00am in the Walker’s Point taproom located at 505 S. 5th Street in Milwaukee.
The festival will feature live polka bands from 11:30 am until 9:30 pm, bratwursts in addition to the normal full menu, Oktoberfest-themed games and competitions with prizes as well as plenty of great beer.
The MobCraft festival will, of course, feature Mobtoberfest, a classic Oktoberfest-style Lager, boasting a golden amber hue with bountiful malt character at a 6.3% ABV. Mobtoberfest will be available on draft and in carryout 6 packs. In addition, MobCraft will be serving plenty of other beer styles on draft and non-alcoholic options.
The live entertainment kicks off at 11:30 am with Carol and the Keynotes. The music continues with a set from The Mike Schneider Band at 3:00 pm, and rounding out the evening with The Squeezettes from 6:30-9:30 pm. Throughout the day, there will be various competitions including beer chugging (1:00pm), stein holding (2:30pm), and polka dancing (5:00pm). The contest will be capped off with a sausage sculpting competition (keep it clean folks!) at 6:00 pm.
Mobtoberfest features polka all day starting at 11:30 am with a polka contest at 5:00 pm.
