Manpower Announces New CEO, Only Fifth In Its History
Becky Frankiewicz will succeed Jonas Prising at the Milwaukee-based company.
Milwaukee-based ManpowerGroup is preparing for a leadership transition, with a new CEO set to take over at the start of 2027.
The global staffing and workforce solutions company announced Thursday that its board of directors elected Becky Frankiewicz as its next chief executive officer, effective Jan. 1.
Frankiewicz, currently the company’s president and chief strategy officer, will succeed Jonas Prising, who has led ManpowerGroup since 2014. Prising will become executive chair of the company’s board of directors.
Frankiewicz will be just the fifth CEO in ManpowerGroup’s nearly 80-year history. She will also join the company’s board of directors.
The transition follows a long-term succession planning process, according to the company.
Frankiewicz joined ManpowerGroup in July 2017 as president of its North American operations. She subsequently served as chief commercial officer and was promoted to president and chief strategy officer in June 2025.
In her current position, she has led the company’s commercial strategy, including efforts to integrate artificial intelligence and emerging AI technologies across its operations. The company operates through three primary brands: Manpower, Experis and Talent Solutions.
Before joining ManpowerGroup, Frankiewicz led Quaker Foods North America, a subsidiary of PepsiCo. Earlier in her career, she worked for Procter & Gamble, Deloitte and Andersen Consulting. She has also served on the board of directors of Energizer Holdings since January 2020.
“As we enter our next chapter, we have a significant opportunity to accelerate our strategy, expand our AI capabilities, and deliver greater value through our ‘Human First, Digital Always’ approach,” said Frankiewicz in a statement announcing her appointment.
Prising, who has spent 12 years as CEO, endorsed his successor.
“Becky and I have worked closely together on ManpowerGroup’s ongoing transformation, and I’ve seen firsthand the exceptional leadership, strategic perspective and deep commitment she brings to the Company,” said Prising. “I have every confidence in Becky as she leads ManpowerGroup into its next chapter.”
Julie Howard, lead director of ManpowerGroup’s board, credited Prising with expanding the company’s workforce management capabilities and making its operations more digital and diversified.
“Following an extensive succession planning process, we are very pleased to endorse Becky as the next CEO for ManpowerGroup,” said Howard.
The leadership announcement came alongside the company’s third-quarter earnings report, which showed improving revenue and profitability.
ManpowerGroup reported $4.84 billion in third-quarter revenue, an increase of 4.4% from the same period in 2025. Net earnings nearly doubled to $34.1 million, compared with $18 million a year earlier. Earnings per diluted share increased from 38 cents to 71 cents.
The company attributed the revenue growth to stronger performance by its Manpower staffing brand, particularly in the United States, while its Experis technology staffing business returned to growth in the U.S. market. Northern Europe also experienced improved results.
For the first nine months of 2026, ManpowerGroup reported $14.2 billion in revenue, up 7% from the prior year. Net earnings totaled $90.1 million, compared with a $43.5 million loss during the same period in 2025.
“Our performance to date reinforces our confidence that 2026 is an inflection point for the business,” said Prising in the earnings release. The company said its ongoing restructuring and transformation efforts remain on track to generate $200 million in cost savings by 2028.
ManpowerGroup operates in more than 70 countries and territories, providing staffing, recruitment and workforce management services to employers while connecting workers with job opportunities.
